“We travel our little hearts out through rain, sleet and snow. Some of us even get lost and circle the globe one time too many. But we always get there, sometimes very slowly, but surely we get there. In fact, one postcard sent in 1967 by Bert Jacobson to his mom was finally delivered in February 2013, 46 years later.
And once we arrive and are passed around, don’t toss us. Save us forever tucked away in a cool, safe place but remember to show us off from time to time. We love being flipped, eyeballed, magnified and scrutinized. We are postcards, letters, and history—we expect it!”
Swings makes it easier for you to focus more on the ‘content’ rather than the ‘how’ of displaying your extraordinary two-sided keepsakes!
8-3/4 + 1/4 lip x 11-1/4 for letters, magazine and newspaper clippings, and other larger keepsakes.
Think of it as a swinging pocketed page that holds your keepsake and sticks to a page of your journal, scrapbook, page protectors—and even a wall!
Also available in smaller size: 6-1/4 + 1/4 lip x 4-1/4 inches (BELOW)
Available with or without adhesive strip on lip.
Swings works double-duty as the hands-down solution for hands-off viewing of your two-sided cherished keepsakes, and an easy way to increase page capacity!
Display 2-sided authentic keepsakes such as postcards with a cherished or historical message and fancy stamp, photos with descriptive or flamboyant ancestral handwriting on the backs, or precious 2-sided letters and envelopes. Plus—add kinetic flair to your pages, increase page capacity, and surprise with small peek-a-boo tidbits. Do all this and more with Swings!
Swings are clear sleeves with a clear self-adhesive anchor lip that sticks to a page and acts as a turning hinge so you can view the front and back sides of your keepsakes! This is exciting stuff(!) when you think of all the creative ways you can present your cherished keepsakes.
•Made of Polypropylene •NO PVC •pH neutral range Adhesive
•Adhesive is repositionable and then permanent within 24 hours.
To Use:
1- Peel away protective liner from lip to expose adhesive strip;
2- Stick to the page of your journal, scrapbook, page protectors—and even a wall;
3- Slip two-sided keepsake into the opening. Swings’ secure back-loading prevents your keepsakes from slipping out;
4- Swing your keepsake back and forth like the page of a book, to view both sides.
For The Fun of It
The self-adhesive strip behind the extended anchor lip is clear and allows for textured and patterned papers to show through. Or decorate the lip with colorful ribbon combined with eyelets, brads, beads, and other embellishments. Add a clever closure too to engage the viewer in opening a mini-book of memorabilia and turning each page.
Sew-in Smaller Pockets
Sew in smaller pockets and of any shape to display other 2-sided keepsakes.
Display Two-Sided Letters and Envelopes
Combine 4×6 and 8.5×11 Swings to display and view letters and accompanying envelopes. Simply stick the 8.5×11 size to the page of your scrapbook with the glue strip on the left so that it turns from right to left. Then stick a 4×6 Swing to the same scrapbook page but with the adhesive strip on the right so that it will turn from left to right. Your placement of the 4×6 Swing will give you the flexibility of flipping it over or hiding under the 8.5×11 letter.
Small Enough for Smaller Journals and Books
Add 4×6 inch Swings to smaller altered books and journals too.
